Τι ύφασμα είναι η βισκόζη;

Η βισκόζη είναι ένα ημισυνθετικό ύφασμα. Παράγεται από φυσική κυτταρίνη (πολτό ξύλου, όπως από ευκάλυπτο, μπαμπού ή πεύκο), η οποία υφίσταται ειδική επεξεργασία για να μετατραπεί σε κλωστή.

Στην όψη και την αφή θυμίζει πολύ το μετάξι ή το βαμβάκι, γι' αυτό συχνά αποκαλείται και «τεχνητό μετάξι».

Βασικά Χαρακτηριστικά

Απαλή & Αέρινη: Έχει πολύ απαλή υφή, ανάλαφρη αίσθηση και πέφτει εξαιρετικά όμορφα στο σώμα (drape).
Δροσερή & Διαπνέουσα: Απορροφά την υγρασία ακόμα καλύτερα από το βαμβάκι, κάνοντάς την ιδανική επιλογή για καλοκαιρινά ρούχα (φορέματα, πουκάμισα, μπλούζες).
Ζωντανά Χρώματα: Συγκρατεί πολύ καλά τις βαφές, διατηρώντας τα χρώματα λαμπερά.

💡 Τι να προσέξετε στη φροντίδα: Συνιστάται πλύσιμο σε χαμηλές θερμοκρασίες (30°C), καθώς μπορεί να μαζέψει (να «μπει») αν πλυθεί σε υψηλή θερμοκρασία.
